Awaken Group provides leadership development consulting services to owners and managers of companies, organizations and communities globally. Our East-West global team has a diverse set of expertise and experiences which include executive coaching/consulting, public speaking, and advising top business leaders in maximizing organizational performance, and developing and unleashing creativity and innovation.

Awaken Group offers highly customized solutions to our clients through a hybrid service of consulting and coaching; this gives us the unique ability to design solutions (consulting) and then guide our clients through the powerful change process (coaching).

Raise consciousness.

We use established assessment tools to raise the level of consciousness both individually and within organizations to identify what works, what doesn’t work, and where opportunities are for growth and development in order to achieve specific strategic objectives. Some of the assessment tools we use include:

  • TLC logoThe Leadership Circle™ (TLC) utilizes breakthrough leadership development tools including 360 degree assessment for individual leadership profiles that gives you “the whole picture” by connecting patterns of action with habits of thought.   • IDI logoIntercultural Development Inventory® (IDI®) is a statistically reliable, cross-culturally valid measure of intercultural competence adapted from the Developmental Model of Intercultural Sensitivity. The IDI is currently available in twelve languages (including Spanish, Korean, French, Chinese) and has been tested using rigorous “back translation” scientific protocols to ensure both linguistic and conceptual equivalency. The IDI can generate an in-depth profile of an individual’s or groups’ predominant level of intercultural competence with a detailed interpretation of that level of intercultural development and associated transitional issues.
  • ICS logoIntercultural Conflict Style (ICS) Inventory is the premier assessment tool for identifying fundamental approaches for resolving conflict across cultural and ethnic group differences. The ICS Inventory consists of 18 items and is a self-scoring, easy to use, cross-culturally valid and statistically reliable instrument that can be used for individual, group, and organizational level assessments.
  • strengthsfinderGallup StrengthsFinder is an assessment tool that identifies an individual’s top five unique strengths (out of 34 strength themes) so that they can start to develop those strengths into talents.
  • Cultural Intelligence (CQ) is critical in today’s increasingly global and diverse contexts, and enhances employee, manager, and organizational effectiveness. CQ assesses an individual’s capability to function effectively in culturally diverse settings by measuring four capabilities (CQ-Drive, CQ-Knowledge, CQ-Strategy, CQ-Action). It provides insights about an individual’s capabilities to cope with multi-cultural situations, engage in cross-cultural interactions, and perform in culturally diverse groups.

Guide through change.

Our work goes beyond simply conducting assessments and offering a proposed solution. One of the reasons many strategies fail is due to the inability to execute which requires change. Change is painful, difficult, and time-consuming. We support our clients through change – from shifts in strategic direction to expanding existing capabilities. We guide our clients to define the required change and proactively create a plan to ensure that the changes get executed.
